Our Mission

Peace in Praxis empowers individuals and families in under‑served communities by providing access to holistic wellness resources, education, and supportive services that promote mental, emotional, physical, and economic well‑being.

What we do

  • Trauma‑informed counseling circles and family resilience workshops
  • Financial coaching, job readiness, and entrepreneurship support

Programs

Pathways to Peace

12‑week group counseling, mindfulness, and stress management. Who: Adults & caregivers. When: Evenings & Saturdays. Outcome: Lower stress and improved coping.

Seeds of Strength

Urban gardens, nutrition education, and produce boxes. Outcome: Healthier habits and fresh‑food access.

Youth Rising

Mentorship, tutoring, and leadership for grades 6–12. Outcome: Better attendance, grades, and civic engagement.

Work & Wealth

Job readiness, resume labs, and financial literacy; micro‑grants for entrepreneurs. Outcome: Employment gains and confidence.

Peace Circles

Restorative justice circles that resolve conflicts and rebuild trust. Outcome: Safer, connected blocks.

Community Advocacy

Civic engagement training and local policy leadership. Outcome: Stronger community voice.
